Alzheimer's Society

There are 750,000 people in the UK with dementia; by 2025 there will be more than a million. We need your help to make sure everyone gets the support they need.

Two thirds of people living with the symptoms of dementia do not have a formal diagnosis. Without a diagnosis, they cannot receive the support, information and treatment that they need to live well with dementia.

There are many barriers to receiving a diagnosis. One is that people often wait a long time before reporting symptoms of dementia to their doctor. Alzheimer's Society's Worried about your memory? campaign encourages people to recognise the symptoms of dementia and seek help sooner.

Over the last two years the Worried about your memory? campaign has reached thousands of people worried about their memory, and encouraged them to speak to their GP.

Alzheimer's Society supports people with all forms of dementia. If you require further information about the Alzheimer's Society or the Worried about your memory? campaign the link below will take you direct to their website.
